Nature's Tiny Powerhouse
Bee pollen is one of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet — packed with amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and natural enzymes that support your parrot's immune system, energy levels, and overall vitality. Sourced from natural hives and gently dried to preserve its full nutritional profile, this is a topper your flock will love. With summer in full swing, it's the perfect time to give your birds a natural energy boost to keep them at their vibrant best through the warmer months.
Benefits
Rich in amino acids to support feather health and muscle condition, bee pollen is also a natural source of B vitamins for energy and nervous system support. Its antioxidant content helps protect cells from oxidative stress, supports a healthy immune response, and its naturally sweet flavour means most parrots find it irresistible. During summer, the natural enzymes and antioxidants in bee pollen can help support your bird's vitality and resilience during the longer, more active days.
Species Suitability
Bee pollen is generally considered safe for a wide range of parrot species, including African Grey Parrots, Amazon Parrots, Blue & Gold Macaws, Green-Winged Macaws, Scarlet Macaws, Hyacinth Macaws, Cockatoos, Cockatiels, Eclectus Parrots, Conures, Caiques, Senegal Parrots, Pionus Parrots, Lovebirds, Parrotlets, Budgerigars, Ringneck Parakeets, and Quaker Parrots.
How to Serve
Always introduce slowly over 1–2 weeks, starting with just 1–2 granules and building up gradually. Once established, serve 3–4 times per week sprinkled over fresh food, chop, or pellets. Small parrots (budgies, parrotlets, lovebirds) can work up to around ⅛ tsp; medium parrots (cockatiels, conures, caiques, Senegals) up to ¼ tsp; large parrots (African Greys, Amazons, Eclectus) up to ½ tsp; and extra-large parrots (macaws, cockatoos) up to 1 tsp once fully established.
⚠️ Our serving guidelines are a general starting point based on commonly available information. Every bird is an individual — always do your own research, consult an avian vet if you have any concerns, and check suitability for your specific species before introducing any new food. Discontinue use if any adverse reaction is observed.
